“Many young people receive, at best, a partial education. The current paradigm does a great job at certain aspects of ‘knowledge transfer’, the passing on of ‘the best that has been thought and said’ (Matthew Arnold). We believe that this is an important aspect of what an education should involve, but that it is not enough – it is necessary but not sufficient.”
