What is Leadership Reflection Wheel?

This tool was developed by the psychologist Hannah Jepson, as a way to describe the qualities and mindsets needed by ‘changemaker’ leaders. She interviewed many leaders and used that to create this model. 

Using the ‘head, heart, hand’ model, the reflection wheel sets out a range of areas of leadership. The model is used on Big Education leadership programmes.

What is an example use of Leadership Reflection Wheel?

This is a reflective tool which invites you to think about your own leadership and about which areas you feel more and less confident and experienced. It can be used as a prompt for a discussion with a colleague or line manager to identify areas for future focus as well as acknowledging strengths and growth.
