How can school leaders construct professional development in ways that enable teacher agency and encourage teachers to own their learning. This toolkit offers a set of principles to shape the design of professional development. This accompanying blog gives an overview of the thinking behind the principles. You can also read the case study report which showcases the work of three schools who used these principles to research, design, implement and evaluate a change to their schools’ professional development models that focused specifically on ensuring that they engaged and motivated staff.
