Oracy…Requires Improvement
Our school’s founding principle is that education should support students to ‘find their voice, both literally & metaphorically’. This year, in the face of external pressures, we wanted to re-ignite oracy from purpose & buy-in, to classrooms & curriculum. This exhibition is a flagship moment for us to raise the profile of oracy and shine a spotlight on our signature practice.
The exhibition will consist of a series of teachmeet rooms with a wide range of presentations focusing on how oracy can improve behaviour, curriculum, literacy and adaptive teaching. This will be bookended by a launch ‘assembly’ including student outcomes, as well as a panel discussion.
