Rethinking Leadership is a group of thinkers and practitioners exploring ideas around what it means to lead in the world of education. This generous and generative work, fuelled by discretionary effort from everyone involved, has become a space for exploration, nurture, sharing and holding.

We are delighted to be hosting a very special workshop as a part of our continuing exploration of the leadership space. And this workshop is focused on precisely that; space. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Margarita Zafrilla, an artist, dancer and philosopher, to host this unique event.

The day will create spaces for exploring leadership through the lens of connection; connection to our purpose, to others and to ourselves. The exploration of the balance and nuance of these and other themes make the ‘dance’ come to life; (re)connecting leadership.

Marga’s work, Tilting verticalities, is a gentle and powerful context to explore these ideas, in ways which can be insightful, healing, powerful and fun.

This full day workshop will include some movement, although no experience or skill is needed! We will experience the world of tilting verticalities and share our reflections, drawing out themes and ideas to support our ongoing explorations around leadership. By (re)connecting, we will surface insights for the future.
