An Expansive Curriculum of the Head, Heart and Hand

Why visit School 21?

There is a renewed interest in how we can offer our young people a broader, more expansive, and more engaging curriculum that develops the whole child.  There are growing requirements of employers for young people to be equipped with a rich balance of knowledge, skills and dispositions. There is also an increasing need for our young people to be confident that they can navigate the complexities of today’s world.

At Big Education we believe in a meaningful education for every young person, empowering them to make a positive difference in their communities, for our world, and for their futures. The school visits are your chance to find out how our schools have developed a broad head (academics), heart (character and wellbeing) and hand (creativity and problem solving) curriculum.

What to expect

At School 21 you’ll see oracy and project-based learning in action, engaging with students along the way.

We welcome everyone to see our culture and practices, experience our curriculum, and see it in action. Because School 21 is an all-through, 4 to 18 school, the visit will be relevant for anyone interested in both Primary and Secondary.

We have had over 1,000 schools visit School 21 since we opened in 2021.  To ensure we can sustain the quality of our visits we have to make a charge of £345 per person to cover our time and require a minimum of 8 people to register.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
