School Learning Visits

Why visit our schools?

There is a renewed interest in how we can offer our young people a broader, more expansive, and more engaging curriculum that develops the whole child. There are growing requirements of employers for young people to be equipped with a rich balance of knowledge, skills and dispositions, There is also an increasing need for our young people to be confident that they can navigate the complexities of today’s world.

At Big Education we believe in a meaningful education for every young person, empowering them to make a positive difference with their communities, for our world and their futures. The school visits are your chance to find out how our schools have developed a broad head (academics), heart (character and wellbeing) and hand (creativity and problem solving) curriculum.

What to expect

We welcome everyone to see our culture and practices and are currently running a regular programme to visit School 21, you can find more information and register to join us for a learning visit below.

At School 21 you’ll see oracy and project based learning in action, engaging with students along the way.

We have had over 1,000 schools visit School 21 since we opened in 2012. To ensure we can sustain the quality of our visits we have to make a charge of £345 per person to cover our time, and require a minimum of 8 people to register.

If you’re interested in visiting our Primary schools, Surrey Square and School 360, or are unable to make the upcoming dates listed for a School 21 visit, please register your interest by completing the short form below. While we cannot yet guarantee a bespoke visit, we will review your request and are looking to extend the visits programme to all schools so will be in touch.
